Our kickboxing classes begin with warm-ups, proceed to kickboxing basics, and then move on to kickboxing rounds.
Kickboxing rounds consist of working techniques and combinations with a partner using Thai pads, kick shields and focus mitts. You’ll develop your attacks with punches, kicks, knees, and elbows, and your defense with blocks, counter-attacks, and other evasive techniques. Throughout the entire class you’ll be building your power, stamina and technique.
As students become more experienced, they will progress to in-class sparring, and will be encouraged to attend our Friday night sparring class to improve their kickboxing skills.
